Light can often transform the most ordinary objects into art. Still life images allow an absolute focus on the singular or combination of ​“things” of natural or man-made materials in a traditional or unique setting. Photographs of objects can bring attention to the significance, beauty, or contextual dissonance of things – objects and materials that have a place in our environment, take for granted or even find distasteful. Still life images are reminders to see beyond the ordinary and appreciate the aesthetics of what we often overlook.
